Memorial Construction
A timeline into the building of the Coleman Veterans Memorial in Coleman, Mi. The Committee was formed in January of 2010. Construction began in August of 2010 and the last Statue was placed in 2016. The memorial is named "United By Sacrifice" which is modeled after the 25th Infantry Memorial in Schofield Barracks Hawaii where Casey Zylman served. Casey was Killed in Action in Iraq while deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom. This memorial was built to honor his sacrifice along with the Thousands of others who gave their lives, served or are still serving our great nation.
